Abandoned by Family

March 5, 2020 by TheVillageLady Leave a Comment

Several days ago, we learned about a young woman who was pregnant, and homeless. She has been sleeping on friends’ couches or in their cars at night.

She was kicked out of the home because she was pregnant. As much as We would like to share that this was a rare story, it’s not. Husbands kick their wives out of the home for wanting to carry a child they believe will cost too much to feed.

Parents, spouses, and boyfriends will abandon their children, wives, and girlfriends because of a pregnancy. We are sharing the plight of many women who need support and housing.

We are working to house, and support abandoned and rejected women.

We’re 10 Years Old

January 2, 2020 by TheVillageLady Leave a Comment

Ten years ago, Carried To Full Term was birthed from an idea to help pregnant and homeless women. The mission literally began after observing the need to help students who may also be pregnant and in need of support.

Although most people became aware of our mission in 2016, we’ve been around since 2010. The journey has been incredible. The support has been amazing and the women who have walked the halls in the home have been magnificent.

Never in our wildest dream could we have imagined the number of babies and children who would be born into our program and would come to call Carried To Full Term home. Thank you for the support and we look forward to growing together.
