Beautification Day (Christ Chapel Academy)

May 13, 2019 by TheVillageLady Leave a Comment

Our goal is to give every family who is in our program an opportunity to feel at home. Each year, community groups help us in our efforts through our community beautification day. The goal is to clean the yard, flower and vegetable garden. This is also a great opportunity for those who are skilled in repair to help work on areas in the house that need attention.

Our reliance on our community is tremendous. They are the pulse and machine behind helping mothers learn to care for themselves and their babies.

On this years’ Beautification Day, we were blessed with the help of Christ Chapel Academy and Mrs. Yarborough’s 10th-grade class for their giving hearts and helpful hands. We cannot do our mission alone and with the help of amazing, hardworking individuals, even the most difficult goals are achievable.

Miracle of Mercy

April 30, 2019 by TheVillageLady Leave a Comment

Miracle of Mercy is a group within Park Valley Church that provides much needed support for our mission. The members donated baskets filled with supplies that were specifically made for our mothers. A huge thank you to Miracle of Mercy and all that they continue to do.
